Cruel Competition

A student at a high school in the town was injured when a science experiment turned into a chemical fire, sending the student to the hospital. The student was treated for burns to the face and arms, but luckily he will be released before the end of the day. Police said the accident occurred when a chemical reaction caused a flash fire of about three to five seconds.Accidents in school chemistry labs are not unheard of. But, detectives Paul, Steven and Karen arrive on the spot to find out if this was a planned action. The student was participating in the school chemistry contest. Unfortunately, someone mixed up his ingredients which lead to an explosion. Immediately after the incident in the high school chemistry lab, the school was evacuated.\'This could have been a little bit worse\', the police said. Luckily, there were no victims, thanking emergency workers and school officials. But the detectives are here to find out who is behind this. Paul, Steven and Karen are yet to identify who triggered the explosions. Help them find the clues that will lead to the criminal.
